Soul Sessions is Whirimako Black's fifth album. It was released on August 15, 2006. All tracks on the album are classic jazz songs, with seven of the 11 tracks sung in Te Reo Maori. The album features Joel Haines on guitar, Kevin Haines on upright bass, Kevin Field on piano and Ron Samson on drums.
